Meme Season Index
Is the Solana meme coin market moving together, or are a few isolated tokens creating the impression of a wider rally? The MemeAssist Meme Season Index turns five observable market conditions into one transparent 0–100 reading.
Open the interactive Meme Season Index to see the current score, factor contributions, monitored-universe coverage, active movers and the latest snapshot time.
What the Meme Season Index measures
The index measures participation breadth, directional buy pressure, median one-hour momentum, volatility and MemeAssist's current market-state classification. Each component has a fixed visible weight. Missing or stale evidence is disclosed rather than treated as positive.
Broad activity is not token safety
A high score means activity is broad and speculative demand is elevated inside the monitored universe. It does not mean every token is credible, liquid or suitable for a trade. Market-wide momentum and token-specific safety answer different questions.
MemeAssist keeps those questions separate. The index describes the environment. An individual report examines the token's Overall Health Score, Rug Risk Rating, AI Verdict and Detailed Risk Breakdown using the evidence available for that address.
How to read the five market states
Cold conditions show weak breadth and limited directional pressure. Warming conditions suggest participation is improving but remains uneven. Active conditions indicate broader movement. Hot conditions show strong participation and demand. Euphoria marks extreme activity, which can coincide with extreme risk and unstable liquidity.
The upper end of the scale is therefore not a recommendation. It is a warning that attention, speed and risk may all be increasing together.
Why breadth matters
A single token can rise sharply while most of the market declines. Breadth asks how many monitored tokens are advancing compared with how many are falling. When breadth confirms momentum, participation is wider. When it diverges, headline moves may be concentrated in a small number of names.
Why buy pressure and liquidity still need context
Transaction direction can reveal whether demand is broadly buyer-led, but counts alone do not prove executable depth. High activity in a thin pool can reverse quickly. The interactive page therefore presents tracked volume, liquidity, advancing and declining counts, snapshot coverage and freshness beside the index.
What the index cannot tell you
The monitored universe is curated and capped rather than a census of every Solana token. The score is not a backtested trading strategy, does not predict future returns and cannot confirm contract safety. Newly launched tokens, provider gaps and rapidly changing pools can also affect coverage.
Before acting on an individual token, run a fresh Solana token analysis, inspect the Market Radar, and read the published methodology and limitations.
What is the Meme Season Index?
The Meme Season Index is a transparent 0–100 composite of activity across MemeAssist's monitored Solana meme coin universe. It summarizes market breadth, buy pressure, median momentum, volatility and the current market regime.
Does a high score mean a meme coin is safe to buy?
No. The index describes broad market activity, not the safety or quality of an individual token. A token can have concentrated ownership, weak liquidity, dangerous authorities or no executable sell route during an active market.
How often is the index updated?
The interactive page reads MemeAssist's frequently refreshed Market Radar snapshot. It always shows the snapshot timestamp and labels stale or last-good data rather than presenting old evidence as current.
How is the score calculated?
The score uses five visible factors: advance versus decline breadth, buy pressure, median one-hour price movement, volatility regime and the broader market-state classification. The interactive methodology panel shows each weight and contribution.
